Club memberships are due from 1st April. As per the AGM we’ve had to increase this to £38, equivalent to 73p per week, this is still excellent value given we don’t charge training fees. The membership fee includes England Athletics affiliation which for 2025-2026 has also risen to £20.
England Athletics has several perks, biggest one is a discount, usually a couple of quid, off a race entry. See englandathletics.org/take-part/athlete-registration/benefits/ for more details.
Members of the committee and coaching team also get a discount on membership (committee and L1 Run leaders only pay EA affiliation of £20, and L2 Coaches get free membership), so if you want to take advantage and join the team please get in touch. Those of you who are already volunteering your time to the club, thank you, your membership subs payment request (if applicable) will reflect this.
Payment links for subs have been emailed. For anyone wishing to make use of the discounted family membership, the stripe links will be in the Membership Form as before. If you haven’t received a payment link, check junk folders or get in touch.
Please fill in the membership form here: Off Track Membership Form, while some of the info collated may not have changed in recent years, we do still require you to fill the form in to ensure emergency contact details are up to date as well as any health conditions we need to be aware of (hopefully we’ll never need to use them).
As with last year we are still collating info on who may be able to support either the Scores or Turkey Trot this year. We appreciate those who indicated they’d be willing to marshal one or both events. All help is very much appreciated. Without sufficient marshals, neither race can go ahead. We almost got Turkey Trot relaunched last year and it was some minor niggles that prevented it going ahead.
To this end, the priority right now is to form a race committee for both races, please indicate (or email if you are happy to do this.
A marshal director from the committee (s) will then email separately to gather marshals or follow up on anyone who’s stated they could be available to marshal on the renewals form.
It’s these races that subsidise the cost of club kit (new kit will be coming very soon), it also covers the cost of training coaches, helps subsidise club events such as the clubs presentation evening, and makes participation in the Suffolk Winter XC league free.
Please also take some time to logon to the England Athletics site as there are some athlete terms and conditions/codes of conduct to be agreed to (specific to England Athletics). To do this go to englandathletics.org
Log in with your URN and associated password (if that’s not known there’s a forgotten password process you can follow).
It would be appreciated if all renewals are completed by 30th April.
If you are unsure about renewing for whatever reason please get in touch with either myself or a member of the committee team and we’ll try and resolve any issue(s) you may have.
Similarly, if you have any other queries, please get in touch with either myself, a member of the coaching team, or the committee and we’ll do our best to answer.
By renewing your membership you agree to abide by the Club’s Constitution and Code of Conduct and I further agree to abide by the rules of the Governing Body of Athletics. If these should be breached I understand that I may be asked to leave the club. I agree that I am an amateur as defined by the Governing Body of Athletics. I am, as far as I am aware fit, to take part in strenuous physical activity.
Thank you
